Think-I is led by Denise Shaw — a performer long before she was a coach. Dance-school trained from the age of six, medalled through bronze, silver and gold in ballet, tap, modern and acrobatics, she spent her teens on stage: choreographing her own routines, making her own costumes, and performing everywhere from competition stages to Nettlefold Hall.
By her late teens she was working the other side of the curtain — assistant to the organisers of a London music festival, walking into record companies and labels on behalf of a bill that included Soul II Soul's Caron Wheeler and Jazzie B, and Aswad. At eighteen she won her first grant and built a home studio.
Years later she was doing for other artists what nobody had structured for her — finding, mentoring and staging her own roster of performers in a UK Unsigned stage show, under her own segment. Coaching. Showcasing. Industry. She didn't choose the three pillars of this house — she lived them first.
